Yas Island residential accommodation, is very much a work in progress, the end is not yet in sight, however, there will be quite a few living options, including Northern Villas, Beachfront Villas, Waterfront Apartments, Yas Village and Northern Marina Village. Accommodation is currently based on the hotels in the area and is universally modern, well appointed with access to hotel facilities such as pools and spas.
Ferrari World boasts the world’ss fastest rollercoaster and a multitude of other rides. Yas Water World opened in January 2013 is set to become a huge attraction. The Flash Forum has hosted stars like Eminem, Shakira and Beyonce. Yas Island has more hotels per square foot than any other part of Abu Dhabi, all built in 2010/11 and they offer a myriad of fine dining options. Most prominent of them all is the Yas Hotel whose lights at night can be seen for miles. There is a massive Ikea on the island and the huge Yas Mall, set to open in 2014 and will be the biggest in the Emirate.
Local Secret: The Yas Marina is slightly away from the main strip of Hotels but the American themed Stars and Bars makes it worth the visit.
